Yes, this is a tut!

Hey guys, I got my capture card the other day and I set it all up and got it running. I opened Pinnacle Studios 11 and looked at the quality of the picture. I thought pretty good! But after this, this is where the problems come in. By default my TV changed to pal 50, because I used a different TV that was Non HD, so I changed it back to PAL 60, but when I changed it, the picture dissapeared! The reason is because, this program is american, and the American standard is NTSC, but the British standard is PAL, so the two dont mix. I, however, have found a way past this!

Actual Tut.
1. Connect your CapCard to your TV and make sure all the cables are right, then open it up in Pinnacle Studios.

2. Change your TV settings to PAL 60 and the picture will dissapear, If you are sure you have done the cables right and the picture doesn't show, then it must already be in PAL 60.

3. When you have changed to PAL 60, go to the Capture section of Pinnacle Studios, and then go to Setup>Capture Format>Capture Source. Then look at the TV Standard section. If you are British, the TV Standard should already be set at PAL. Change it to NTSC. The picture should come up but it will be black and white. Time for the next step.

4.Download the program, Am Cap. When you have opened AM Cap up, go to Options>Video Capture Filter> Change the settings to SECAM_B. Minimize this, and go back to Pinnacle Studios. Your picture should now be in color!

NOTE: When you press the start capture button, you will have to go back to AM Cap and change the filter settings to SECAM_B.

Hope this helped, please point out any typos and that!
