My theory on dreams.

Okay, sorry if other people have posted this, I have not seen a topic like this though.
Okay so what what if our dreams are actually ourselves in parallel universes? Dreams are so real and maybe when we dream we connect to another version of ourselves and we see their version of Earth. Since I think that there are an infinite amount of parallel universes because every decision we make has at least two options, and what ever decision we choose there is another universe in which we made the opposite choice. Now back to dreams, there are nightmares. What if those are just hellish versions of earth or another planet? Now what about lucid dreaming you may ask. Well, what if when we lucid dream another parallel universe is made where we are the king of that universe and we decide what goes on and what happens in that universe? Going back to my theory on parallel universes this makes sense, well to me it does any way. Please post your opinions or your own theories on dreaming if you would like to, and please tell me if my theory makes any sense to you.

That is a really interesting theory you have there. I never actually thought about dreams in that way before.

I don't believe this 100% since there is no proof of a parallel universe, but it makes more sense than most of the other things.
