I have hotswapped loads and now i dont want mods but the disk drive wont read my gta disk....

what do you mean?

if when you put a game in it says open tray you need a need drive/laser

if when you put gta you get disc unreadable your gta is scratched you need a new disc

if when you load gta you get black screen even if you haven't got mods on and installed it you need a new gta disc

i say burn a unmodded disc and hotswap that!!
