I have the slim and sometimes it will read the game but most of the time it doesn't read them
If anyone can tell me what I should do and it works I will rep+ for a week

maybe the games are scratched
or your xbox disk tray is mest up

Maybe your games are messed up but this happened to me and I had to open it up and fix it.
