Yeah, Macs can get viruses too, it's just the customer base is so small compared to windows that it's not worth the time to spread it etc...

Are you serious man? I said they are prone, meaning they can get them.

And I said they are not immune, meaning they can get them.

LOL Discussion does not know what immune or prone means he is just trying to sound smart

I do know what they mean. Prone and immune mean that they are able to get viruses. No-one is saying they are NOT immune, which means they CAN'T get viruses. Which they can. So don't tell me I don't know the difference buddy. I know what I am talking about. I graduated an IT specialist, I work with computers and networking every day. So stay in school.

for windows you have to download a virus security system and you STILL get viruses. And I'm not the person who clicks on all of the stupid download links that have viruses in them. I went through 3 pc's and switched to a mac and had no problems with it. It is so much easier to use and never gets viruses. Pc < Mac.

Nuff Said.

Immune means something cannot intrude or infect (using a scientific manner), prone is the complete opposite to immune meaning something can intrude and infect, in this case a virus. Now lets go back to the original quote that was given to us by No-one.

No-one wrote Actually macs are not immune to virus's, ever heard of java?

Now using our newfound knowledge of immune and prone and put it into context based on what No-one said.

Macs can get viruses.

Thus making your logic flawed and your argument invalid, good day sir.

OT: I seriously don't see why even debate about this, it's pointless.

It's a matter of opinion, as macs can get viruses..
