NOTE: PATCHED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! Will update with any new releases. thank you for your patience.
Credit to Fairchild for the cryption tool and CountryBoy for some of the ID's
Difficulty of modding this game: Hard
Things you will need that I included:
Hex Workshop or Hex editor
Fairchild's Decryption tool for Castleminer z. (Also has encryption tool)
Horizon
And a USB drive for transferring your castleminer save...
All-in-one modding package:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Lets get started...
First transfer your castleminer z save and not the game to your usb and then to your computer which then open horizon's device explorer to extract the files...
NOTE: Dont transfer the full save itself.. you want to go into file contents then pick a world you own (top=newest) then click on it and choose to extract either world.info, player.inv, or your base location at an X Y Z Angle. (used for block ID Changing...)
Next open Fair Child's Decompression/Compression tool and select Decompress/decrypt..
It will decrypt it usually instantly but then you would want to open the file you decompressed in hex editor or hex workshop.
Now this part is hard to explain since nobody really had a tutorial for inventory editing, so I will try an explain it....
SOOOOOO....
In hex editor if your looking to edit your inventory to get special items such as Bloodstone Bullets or the hidden block called Space Rock and stuff...
So Once you have player.inv in hex editor, you want to look at the values for a moment and
check to see if any of the values match with ID's of the items you actually had in your inventory. example: 1C is a bloodstone pickaxe. so if you had a bloodstone pickaxe in your inventory, then you can change it to whatever. if you never had a bloodstone pickaxe, then leave that value alone or it may corrupt the save and possibly your game...
Im going to be nice and put the values up here for you if you do not wish to have the text file that was included with the mod pack open.
Once your done modding all you need to do is encrypt the data with the program i gave you and put it back into the save file in horizon. and DONT FORGET TO REHASH AND RESIGN!
Thats it for my tutorial, I hope you all enjoy it while it lasts, because not many people know about this mod and hopefully it doesnt get patched.

TTGmodsalot wrote whenever i try to decrypt it a warning pops up
what is the warning?
make sure your not decrypting the entire save, just the contents of it.. like player.inv
or world.info and so on...
