Paralysis is an expert level alteration spell. Another fun spell to use is Greater Ward, You can soak up an Elder Dragon's breath attack with it pretty easily.

I prefer healing magic over others. It is much easier to be out DPS'd using magic on a magic wielding NPC or an NPC in general.
Healing is an excellent alternative when you do not have healing potions or food.

It is from the college quests. Conjuration must be at 90 and it can only be used a few times. The college has you get a sigil stone for something. After that the spell is unusable. You need the 5 rings of the "missing" students found in a chest in the colleges library. Left side of the library and it is the only chest in there, I also believe it is a maser lock.

I like almost all of the fire spells, mainly because they don't use up too much magica and they did a great amount of damage. Sorry but I would tell you the exact spell but I just don't remember it.
