I was looking at the xbox live reward FAQ and this is listed there:
Will my Xbox LIVE Rewards Points expire?
A. Rewards Points do expire, so be sure to use them by June 30, 2013.
Rewards points are just standard Microsoft points and Microsoft points don't usually expire, could this possibly be because of the changeover???
