Check your disk for anything like a scratch around it. Or check for any cracks. It's more than likely your disk.

yep, you got a refurbished with a bad gpu

gamestop started going downhill xbox wise once the RRod problem started
i would rather not have an xbox then go to them and buy a cheap piece of crap
