ok guys i have an rgh that keeps freezing as soon as i start system link on a game. ive reinstalled the game several times
ive even reinstalled xex from scratch. re formatted the hard drive. my question is does the nand need reflashing i have the original files of the xbox on a disc. and what do i do to reflash the nand. thanks for looking guys

How are you installing it?
It shouldn't be a problem with the Xbox itself, but instead with the game files.

im installing via retail disc. but i also have a jtag that will install the same game perfectly

Then your DVD drives laser is messed up and not ripping the game right.

ok thanks for that what do i have to do to get it repaired i know its not as simple as swapping drives. cos u need the drive key right?

That would happen to my old old xbox 360 and it got RROD.

So i did the towel trick and sold it.:trollin:

No. You you need the key when replacing the PCB, not the laser. If you swap drives just replace the PCB and make sure your using the same type of drive (Lite-on, BenQ, Hitachi, Samsung).

ok cheers ill get one ordered temp fix will have to be swapping hdd"s between both consoles
