I wonder if something got changed in the last dashboard update as i cant get this to work.
I have a Level 99 GDP file (hard to find now Megaupload is offline)but when I replace the one in my profile and save/rehash, when i load up the game is shows me as already 100 with 'wings'.
Which is a pain as i'm trying to unlock the Veteran Gear Achievement and i want to HAVE to play a little to get to the 100 rank...
So does anyone have a 98 or low 99 gdp or know whats going on with this high 99 GDP?

The games been out for like 3 years and you're still not wings? you need to get good

I'm sure if you were to find the exact xp you need to get to 100, you could hex edit the amount of xp needed to get to 99 and only 100 xp to get to 100. First you would need to find out how much xp you have now

I was close but my old account got lost due to a **** up with an old credit card and M$ being twats. I only played a little GOW2 on the new account then GOW3 came out.

do you know of a guide to hex editing GOW2 saves?
its odd that the lvl 99 GDP i have comes straight in at 100... maybe i should clear all the updates off the xbox and try it on a dummey

This video uses hex editor to mod the gpd. Try it out but I do suggest to make a copy of your original gpd before you try just in case something messes up.
