Im building a new gaming rig and I dont want to have power problems so is a 550W psu good enough ?

XFX HD 6790
AMD Athlon II X4

Minimum PSU for that card is a 500W.
I'd get a 600W to be safe.

Oh and if you building a gaming rig i'd suggest and i5 2500k or i7 2600k!

Just get a 600w.

It will pay of in the future if you plan on having this rig for a long time.

Not every1 has that kind of money laying around Also 2500k woulds be more then enough, the 2600k would just be a waste of money Oh and about the PSU id go for a 600w Just to be on the safe side.

A 550w PSU is fine for that rig, just make sure it is 80 plus bronze at least.

If it isn't, then you would have more luck going with a 600w + power supply.

Make sure, what ever wattage PSU you get, that it is a well known brand like Corsair, Antec, Coolermaster or OCZ.

700W PSU is a great choice. You don't have to worry about the PSU supporting future upgrades
