As the title says, I want to know what type of USPS Box I should use to ship a DVD Drive alone.

Well measure it the disc drive then get the according parcel from the post office.

Measure it and then go on the website and find out what box you need.

You can also Google it for a even better answer.

Well you could use a Medium flat rate box although it costs $10. Or you could go to the post office and find the smallest box it will fit into. A small flat rate box will not work.
