mars is the closest habitable planet we have found so far. The plan was, in 10 years send a team with plants, oxygen, food supplies, and i think 20-30 people to mars. they were to enclose a certain section of mars in an air tight vaccum, there they would supply oxygen to it, then plant the platns, creating a similar atmosphere to ours. But now that that dumb *** nag obama was in office, he cut gov. funding to NASA. so know it will be delayed even further, probobly out of our lifetimes

Well, considering there are millions of galaxies, billions upon billions of planets, there MUST be atleast one sort of life form out there.

Life needs alot examples : , distance from the sun has to be right (temp) , nucleic acid.. etc.. but just remember humans and everything on earth is carbon based so it would need carbon to form life and is there another planet with so much if it? or even Silicon? to make a Silicon base form of life.

It is Bacteria and it has not been proven 100% but there is test done on mars that have done chemical reactions in the soil that could only be possible with bacteria
