Left 4 Dead is an awesome game to play with friends, but if you are going to play alone I don't reccomend it for you.

In my opinion, Left 4 Dead 1 has better maps and characters, and Left 4 Dead 2 has better weapons, zombies and more people play it online. So I suggest you to buy L4D2, and if you really enjoy the game, buy the first one too.

Left 4 Dead 1 is definitely better than Left 4 Dead 2.

Well I only played L4D2 so. You may wanna start with L4D1 Lol. But it's a great game though.
