do you have any idea when the 4s jailbreak comes out?

hi dude. great sticky. i'm having tech difficulties jailbreaking my ipod touch 4g ios 5.0.1 usind redsn0w_win 0.9.10b3 where i go through dfu uploading of files then says awaiting reboot, my ipod then restarts and remains untouched???? it says
"Please wait while your build is being identified.



Waiting for reboot"

the program then sits there with the Next button greyed out and the only option is Cancel.

If you're running windows, try running RedSn0w as administrator..

I tried both as and not as admin on both my desktop and laptop pcs but to no avail :-(

if i just go to Settings -> Reset -> Erase and Reset (deletes everything and factory restores the iDevice), will this restore my iPod to it's factory condition and remove jailbreak?

This Doesn't remove the jailbreak. You need to restore with iTunes, sorry.

I need one for the iPad 2 :/
