I wholly agree. Infinity Ward is punishing us, the consumers, for an exploit which they failed to patch the moment it comes out. Instead, they wait a month or two for it to get really popular, and just banhammer everyone who has the glitch.

Seriously, I might go back to Black Ops. Because Infinity Ward are a useless, lifeless industry focused solely on profit and nothing but that. At least Treyarch was a bit more lenient and was un-glitchable, unless perhaps for Zombies, where it doesn't ruin anyone's multiplayer experience. In what way is exploiting a glitch ruining other consumer's online gameplay? No, it doesn't.

When people stop playing COD MW3 all of the sudden, maybe you'll think twice by resetting a majority of the players because they decided to jump through a wall a few times or gained a few levels through boosting or got extra guns with a prestige token glitch.

Who cares if some ppl "exploit" the game and get a better advantage over other people. Its not a job or real life, ITS A GODDAM VIDEO GAME. No ones gonna cry because someone boosted a prestige. now all the hours I put into your game are wasted because Im banned and reset.

Honestly, someone can only use the DEFAULT classes and be better than an 80 tenth prestige with all gold guns, perks, etc. Its all about having fun. Your rank doesn't mean how good or not you are. I dont mind being banned for a few days, but leave our rank out of it. We play multiplayer to rank up and by resetting us doesnt make us wanna play anymore.

ALSO, if "being fair" is your main goal and theres an "advantage" problem, whats the point of being good on the leaderboards if the top 100 are all hackers and ****. Those are the people you ban!

Leave the players out of it and deal with your own problems.

you DO know when you create your Xbox live account when it asks if you agree to the terms of service? well when you agree to those that basically means you are signing that contract agreeing you will follow the rules in the terms, and if you are to break those rules you can be punished, and exploiting glitch's IS against those rules you swore to follow when you made your account. maybe you should learn what agreeing to any terms of service means before you agree to any.

They have the rigtht to ban, you agreed to terms and conditions, and you broke those rules. Therefore you are in the wrong. And yes it costs a buck to make, but the game itself costs millions to produce and design. Now stop b1tching.

Dude first of all it costs them over 1 million dollars to make their games and its in their god damn terms & conditions that you should not exploit any glitches in the game so you can not moan about them banning people for it... Also at the end of the day there are still millions of people playing CoD even if about 100,000 were banned/reset so InfinityWard are still making tons of money.

The cost to manufacture an xbox disc, game case, and manual is about 2.55. If I'm not mistaken, each game comes with a 48 hour code, so I assume infinity ward had to give microsoft like a buck for each one. So we'll say 3-4$ to produce 1 copy. It also costs them millions to actually make the game. The game fairy doesn't just take a dump on a disc to make a game.

They can't just instantly patch a glitch. They have to first find the source of the problem, fix it, run the update through microsoft for checking, then it slowly goes out to people....

Seriously? You think they should let you ruin something they created just because its a 'GODDAM VIDEO GAME'. You can check most of the top people on the leaderboard's videos. Most of them are popular on youtube, or check their CoD Elite. They are legit. IW does a good job on MW3 leaderboards. I'm sorry that you think they can monitor millions of people, but they can't...
