There is a sticky about "If you're going to hate - Don't post at all". This is a little different than that.

The rant is where you can talk about a subject and state your opinion on it. Others can then comment on it, posting how they feel about the subject.

What some of you need to realize is that just because someone may disagree with you, they aren't saying that you are wrong. They might just be simply telling you their views on the topic. There is no need for you to get mad at the person or lash out at them for thinking differently.

This goes both ways, though. If you disagree with someone's rant, this does not give you the right to harass or put them down. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, so there is no need for flame wars on who is right and wrong.

If you are going to post in The Rant, you really need to be open-minded and realize we are all different. Not everyone will agree with what you are saying. It is okay to debate on your views with each other, as long as nobody is being condescending towards anybody.

Kill the ignorance!
