So post here what you guy think should be in Halo 4's forge mode to make custom maps and fore mode more enjoyable and unique.




  • More Unique forge items - Be able to place more natural objects and unique objects to your map. Be able to add things like trees, vines, moss, more rocks, caves, water, lava, waterfalls, rivers, plants, grass, wheater, and wild life AI.

  • Usable objects - Be able to place objects that a player can activate or use. Light switches (could be linked like teleporters in reach), doors, trap doors, elevators, pistons, auto turrets, etc.

  • AI - Be able to add AI players that can do simple things like shoot and run. Could also set the route for the AI player and when and where he will shoot and set when he will say some dialog and change the voice. Also customize his armor and health.

  • Customizable Vehicles and more vehicles - I would like to see the option to add more vehicles, yes more halo vehicles such as pelican, cyclops, and transport warthog. I would like to see more practical vehicles such as cars and motorcycles (future style) to add to the maps perspective. would be cool if you could drive in first person. Also to be able to change the color and add decals (like forza 4) and customize the max speed the vehicle can go.




*These are just my opinions of what i want in forge mode and probably most will not go into the game (shame).

Envirnment changes. Like terrain, precipitation (rain or snow), clear sky or cloudy, fog, all that.

I liked Halo: Reach's Forge mode, but Halo 4's forge should allow you to put down a lot more items.

I really like that idea i hope they use the halo 3 sort of engine i hated halo reaches engine and i am very dissapointed that the halo 1 remake used it also.

On Timberland (HALO CEA) You can place a dead , tree and a lot of rocks so there heading some where with the environment factor.

halo 3 maps
halo reach wasnt very good for forging. I like your ideas and a change in the environment would be cool as well

If we have one of those budgets it should be like 20k instead of 10k

Higher budget would be good and more items instead if just 100 of the same category.
