Hello.
I need an external hard drive and it is cheaper to make my own, so do I just buy a 2.5" external hard drive case and then buy a 2.5" sata hard drive and connect it up and then have my own external hard drive????

I'd just buy some cheap asian from eBay (hong kong) I once got a webcam for 99cents with no delivery Fee

I don't think this is as economical as it used to be. With the Thailand floods jacking up prices, I've found that buying prebuilt external drives to be cheaper most of the time.

However, there's a pretty good deal on this 500GB drive from Newegg.
