If a jailbreak is teathered, that means you would have to rejailbreak everytime it restarts correct?

ys and no,
you have to BOOT TETHERED each time it REBOOTS,
if you resprings your okay,
if it dies on you or u install a cydia tweak that has to be rebooted to take activaty u eed to boot tethered
but 5.0.1 has an untethered jb now

Tethered jailbreak Means that you will need to redo the jailbreak each time your iPhone reboots (you will not lose your data each time.)
And If you have 5.0.1 You have to download Corona on Cydia.
