Okay TTG I only have $15, and I was wondering with a Comcast dcx3400 model HD DVR would double as a Capture Device. I have heard this from the guy who installed it, along with my dad. Here are a few pictures to help if needed.

I was wondering the same thing but it would be very hard to do if you can.

i think it only records the show coming in on the cable line nothing else
