Okay so i just got my iPod Touch 4G (8GB) for Christmas and while i was out of the room taking a shower my sister got on it to check her facebook, then after i got out she came up to me and said my iPod froze up. I tried the home + sleep/wake trick and it didn't work, i tried the home + volume up + sleep/wake trick and THAT didn't work either. I have also tried connecting to iTunes but it won't detect the iPod... Please helpp

OKAY SO IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO READ THE PARAGRAPH ILL JUST SAY IT IN ALL CAPS, I HAVE DONE THE HOME + LOCK, THE HOME + VOLUME UP + LOCK, AND MY ITUNES DOESNT RECOGNIZE MY IPOD. Ty

connect it to the pc, then try to go into dfu mode (google it) if that doesnt work, blame your sister, she bricked your ipod

EDIT: MAKE SURE ITS CONNECTED TO THE COMPUTER WHEN GOING INTO DFU MODE, if iTunes finds the ipod, restore it

if it worked, your welcome

hook it up to your computer and re-sync it. that happened to mine and now it works fine. or hold the home button and the shut off/sleep button down at the same time until you see the silver apple logo.(it resets it)
