Sounds great for every thing you probably need!

Good choice for doing a custom build instead of a set pack

Where exactly are you buying your parts from? And if you plan on overclocking at all you need to make sure you have the i5 2500k it's the unlocked CPU allowing overclocking if you have the plain i5 2500 you won't be able to overclock (if you want to) but if you don't want to overclock then that's a perfect processor. You might want to spring a bit more for the GTX 560 Ti, I have one in my rig and I love it, here's a link to one if you want to check it out. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] You NEVER want to cheap out on your PSU, because if that goes then it can take your whole system with it. Heres' a link to a nice cheap reliable corsair PSU [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] 16 gigs of ram might be a bit overkill depending on what your doing, but if your gaming/editing/browsing the web then 4-8gigs of ram will do just fine, other than those things it looks like a solid build.

ya I agree with pancakes, you really need a 560 ti or better to do any newer age gaming, and yes you will need probably a 600-650 watt psu to run that system safely. I suggest you buy xfx, corsair, or seasonic PSU's as they are the most reliable and well built
