Somebody just posted in the General Discussion how their Grandfather was diagnosed with Cancer and he was upset and needed somebody to talk to. I told him to feel free to PM me if he needed to talk.

I understand maybe the post doesn't belong here, but we are all human beings.

People were posting on it telling him to suffer and all kinds of awful things, I'm sorry but that wasn't how I was brought up, how can you literally have no compassion for another person.

Maybe you don't agree with the post but then don't comment on it saying stuff like that to somebody who is clearly going through a hard time especially during the Holidays.

I just wish everybody would show respect and kindness to each other.

I just think that's messed up, for no reason especially and I feel bad for the kid.

I did not see the topic, but that is terrible, I do not know why someone would be harsh to another like that.

I agree with you, but it would be best to keep those kinds of things to yourself or friends

i agree with you 100%!

half of the people on TTG ar absolute Pr1ckz
they think there all special with gold and over 1000 posts they thing there a higher class than us but really they have no life ( sorry if your Gold and your a nice person) but some of your are d1ckz its genrall descussion you can post whatever you want who cares if it is pointless post what you want dont listen to somoe of the freaks on here they think there something there not and people like that whos grandad has been diagnosed with cancer and people give him grief what would you do if it was your grandad or nana or mam? i know what its like my grandad died of it and my sister had cancer of the blood called leukemia and it was horrible i live in middlesbrough and i had to go to newcastle and back every single night which i didnt mind cause it was my little sister thankfully she is fine now a few years have passed and everything is great! so people dont go hating on other people they need someone to talk to so be nice not mean and have a Merry Christmas!

some people dont have a lot of friends in the open world so they try to seek help on the internet, sometimes it helps and sometimes it backfires like the incident with the kid and his grandpa i dont wish harm to anyone. and if people need help and u feel u can help, go for it u have nothing to loose but to gain a friend and give that person a great friendship (300 posts)

I'm glad so many of you agree with me, it restores my faith a little bit. Even if you don't want to talk to the kid or whatever you don't have to say stuff like that. I would feel disgusted with myself. Just a simple 'I hope he gets better' in a PM takes little effort and it would mean alot to him.
