Apple is basically advanced compare to Windows, I think they have great products and its really killed the old generation of technology

Because no-matter how much i spend on a mac, they'll be a better product out there for less.

they are overpriced for what i could build i mean ipods r awesome but their computers naaaa im not gonna pay a grand for a macbook when i could make a gaming pc thats about 5 times better

People dont HATE them they just dislike them oh and the guy who said because we cant afford them thats kinda dumb because for the same price as 1 mac u can get a pc that 2 times better and be able to play any game out. Macs are mainly for music and video producing and people think their better because they have alot of icandy effects..

They are way to expensive. They look pretty, but aren't very compatible with allot of windows programs.

Because everything about a Mac is ridiculous. They are basically PCs that look nice, and cost twice as much or even more.

People think a Mac and PC with the same specs will be different for video editing or GFX. They are idiots. It is pretty obvious that they will be exactly the same. The difference is that the PC will cost much less.

Also they can only use OSx which is just a downgraded version on Windows that gets less viruses. The only reason they get less viruses is because no one wants to make a virus for Mac. They do exist, just not as many as Windows viruses because it hold more of the market.

There is also the issue of upgrading. If you want to upgrade your video card in an iMac, too bad.

iPods are nice though

Everything Apple makes is proprietary and not meant for the tinkers like myself. I like to explore my computer and do stuff they are not intended to do. I also think that Apple computers are a pain to repair or troubleshoot because they are so proprietary and you can't find the parts easily like you can for a PC. The prices of a Apple product are outrageous compared to their competition. Apple products are also harder to setup up with businesses. Everything on an Apple product is intended to do one thing and is supposed to be simple. That is great if you are someone who does not like the complexity of a PC, but for the tinkers, gamers, technicians, modders, overclockers, etc. Apple products just aren't what we want.

I have a Macbook Pro too and it's awesome. People just hate on them because they're pricy I think.
