Basically i have a Dazzle DVC 100 and it used to work fairly well, but i've noticed that when i plug it into my splitters it saps the quality from my TV screen and creates these black bars scrolling down my TV screen which show up on the recording, is this the splitters or something else?

Be careful that's a sign of red rings.

For a start i know that it's not a sign of red rings because it has nothing to do with the xbox.
It's to do with either the splitters or the video cable, just not sure what's happening and why.
