Ok so heres the problem...My ipod touch cant play music at all. When i play a song it automatically stops it and when i keep playing it u will hear a screaching sound and the ipod would freeze by itself...Any 1 know why?

damn dude that thing is messed up lol what i would think is its the jack of the ipod like where you plug in head phones because on the ipod 2g/3g they usually get messed up and only one ear will work or something like that it has happened to me twice so i know what you are talking about kinda either that or your headphones are blown out

Same thing happened to me with the bad headphone jack but i would try restoring it just to make sure that it is hardware not just software if that doesn't help it sounds like your headphones might be blown like the previous guy said or the jack is busted.

Ty to restore the ipod in itunes n have it on the recent firmware. That should fix it

Your sound is screwed on it. Maybe bring it to an Apple store and see what they can do.
