Krymble wrote Good luck coding this... Looks challenging not that I know anything about coding.

Fonts are too big & bulky. Bebas wouldn't be a good choice for web design.

Arial is the way to go or any clean fonts related.

Nothing fancy would work here. (Yes, Bebas would be considered fancy.)

Also, Seems a little small for a whole website and not a portfolio.

- Will you be coding this into an actual website?

Nope, don't have the slightest clue about coding.

Did this to get feedback and stuff really.

Thanks.

I highly suggest you learn HTML, xHTML, CSS, and java. They are the most essential to web development, and in all honesty once you get the hang of them, they are extremely easy. They are the basis for all your editor programs such as dreamweaver, flash catalyst, expression web, etc, so knowing the force behind the program is key.

Things I find wrong with this:

-Text is way too large
-The nav bar is placed in a bad position. Either make it and the text smaller or move the notifications because once coded, that will be a mess so close together
-Your logo is too large, lower the size and keep it to a side, if it strays into the center it will take away from the appeal for this certain page (an idea, put your nav bar in the center to the right of the logo, fixes your nav bar problem and your spacing issues)
-Your news feed and download dialogues are off center. If you don't want them centered, atleast make the spacing equal. Neither margin is the same amount and the spacing in the middle looks unprofessional and unappealing.
-The networking icons, just make them smaller and move them under the dialogue box more or move them and the text to a corner of the page.

Overall, not horrible. Needs some work but then again web design is what I've found, the hardest genre of design for designers to fully grasp.

To be honest, web design is one of the easiest things for me to grasp, since I like simplicity... I seem to find youtube backgrounds hard, since there is such small space for such a lot to put in, since the modules take up so much of the space, whereas on a website you can be as creative as you like on quite a large web page.

All the feedback is greatly appreciated (especially from Bap).

It was my first time, and i've actually never watched any tutorials for photoshop other than how to get it for free (my fault i know...). Next year i do a graphics unit, and i think i do web design around the same period so hopefully i can grasp it all by then and pass with flying colours;)
