This has been confirmed not to work so many times by so many people.

i heard this was patched so that may be why it doesnt work if anyone was wondering

First off I have been doing this with CoD4. I have 17 prestige tokens at the moment. So if you have a JTAG it is easy. Just derank yourself (find a patch its easy) then play some games to solidify it. Then find a patch or make one to set you to 9th (which prestige does not actually matter) prestige 55. Play a game or two. Prestige. Play a game or two. This has been working for me but here are a few things i noticed and some things you should try if it is not working:

1. It takes a while for the servers to update your level. So when you derank yourself maybe wait a day or a few hours.
2. Once you prestige it could take a day for the tokens to be added. So be paitent.
3. It is very important that you remember the servers have to update. You can not just rapidly prestige and derank. Give the game time to realize it.

I have tested this and as of today (11/26/11) it is still working.
