Hey guys, I just installed skyrim to my computer. At first the resolution and stuff was a little off so I changed it, then I started it and I was able to hear the Bethesda intro, but after that I CANT HEAR ANYTHING
No Im not retarded its not muted in game, and my speakers are on, I've even tried it with headphones. nothing works. All sound works perfectly fine if I'm listening to youtube and stuff. My audio works for cod4, but I had borrowed Dead Island from a friend and that too didnt play audio
PLEASE HELP! I've been trying to figure this out for like two hours :[

In the volume options in the advanced tab (in the properties window for your speakers) turn down the sound quality from 24 bit 96KHZ to 24 bit 48khz.
