so my friend gave me his windows xp desktop ; and i had turned it on today to go on the internet but i cant connect to my wireless internet ? so i went on youtube and could'nt find anything if u know how to help me please comment or pm +15 rep

turn on the wireless switch on the bottom/side of the pc, or run the troubleshoot built in application and nav to wireless connectivity

iv done this but when i click start ;control pannel;network and internet and wireless isnt there ?

is your wireless network set to "broadcast network"? if not, connect the computer to the router/modem with an ethernet cord so the pc can sync with it.

It may not have a wireless card. I had to buy a USB one for my desktop because it only had an ethernet input.
