I'm looking for speakers or a speaker system. I have no clue about picking out any of this so thats why I am asking you guys. I listen to dubstep and other EDM music and rap. So i like a lot of bass. I dont want to spend over 200$ but I can if necessary all the way up to 350$ depending on the speakers. So if anybody can help i will + Rep any suggestions or help are welcome.

Best for your money is the Klipsch Promedia 2.1. After that, you get into near-fields, which are a whole different deal.

They run about 150 bucks new, but I've seen them going really cheap! You also might be able to demo them at a Best Buy that carries them. Many do.

Yes, very easily. There is a dedicated input jack.

Yes. Good bass quality, too. Extension is good, as is tightness. Not overpowering or distorting.

Personally, I'd go with Audioengine A2s, but the SIII is not too bad for the price. The A2 is better, though.

Congrats on your purchase! r00t_b33r's impressions happen to come from my promedias. I have had them for maybe 6 months now and it may have been the best $150 I have ever spent. I use them for gaming and listening to music and they are so incredibly good for that price. The subwoofer is far more powerful than one would expect and I find myself actually turning it down for some styles of music. I would never recommend anything else in that price range.
