Stickies
To start I just want to say I have no problem if someone makes a detailed and informative post that they have put their time and effort into but it is when a member makes a topic saying 'Keep all badges discussion here' (this is just a recent example) and the content of the post includes nothing more than the title did, there is already a sticky for this particular issue and if you look at it it certainly doesn't just repeat the title of the topic, it shows all the re-designed badges and gives a link to them, it also informs us of other things such as staff no longer having the gold member badge. Then we get to the second problem that is caused by the one liner sticky try-hards. Badges.

The acquisition of a badge on TTG is a goal made by many and a popular one to go for (for obvious reasons) is the position of a moderator. May these people be reminded that mini-modding is against site rules:

With that said people can come across as mini-modders if the wording of their post is a little more elegant than the standard language used by members on the site I'm not saying the sites members are illiterate, I'm merely just making the point that behind a screen some people's language differs from the way they normally speak. Anyway once one member has said 'There is a sticky on this look before you post ' it immediately seems appropriate to post the exact same comment just to get your post count up, if you have some constructive criticism to give to the poster I have no problems with that.

Not really going to achieve much with this post as people will click it, see a huge paragraph and disregard the post entirely, but to those who do read it. Thank you
