Refer to the three posts above yours. I'd go with the XB700s for the most/best bass.

Where exactly are they sold? might ask my dad for em since he still hasnt gotten me anything for my b-day :onfire: :pharte:

Personally, I would go with amazon. They usually have low prices and the convenience factor is huge. As far as brick and mortar stores go, I'm not really sure. Very few retailers stock anything other than beats, but Best Buy might be you beset bet there. But actually, amazon.

Your budget (make sure you tell me what currency!) 400-500S U.S

Which genres you'll be listening to. : Dubstep and like rnb

What kind you want (over-ear, on-ear, in-ear, no preference, etc.) and whether you want portability. Over Ear

Whether you want open or closed headphones (open allows other people to hear at high volumes and some improvements, closed headphones do not leak sound as much and are slightly limited in some ways). open

What you are listening from (iPod, phone, desktop computer, laptop, console, turntable, etc.). ipod

When you guys give me a budget range, I'll usually try to use most of it. I can't do recommendations for the entire price range.

For a budget of 300 bucks and with your preferences, the Ultrasone line is best for you. The Pro 750s can be had or about $225 on Amazon.

These benefit from amping, but I don't believe that it's necessary as they are very easy to power. If you want to look at an amp, though, you would see a good improvement is sound quality, even with a cheap line out dock (LOD) like the Fiio L3 or L9 and a Fiio E6 amplifier. The E6 is around 20 bucks, and the interconnect is about 8 bucks. Tell me if you want more help!

The Ultrasone line also sounds right for you. The Pro 900s and a Fiio E11 with a Fiio LOD (Line out dock) are what I would recommend. They are not open, but these are some of the few bass-centric headphones at this price range. These are also one of the only portable over-ear cans I can think of, especially at this budget. If you're listening form an iPod, I assume you want a level of portability. Tell me if you definitely need closed headphones, though. Keep in mind that at that budget, they will not be portable at all and will need more power and a DAC (digital analog converter).
