Honestly, gamestop is probably one of your worst-options for getting a game EARLY.

They're FOCUSED on games, if anything i'd try an online store, or some place like walmart that isn't focused on games, and the essential release date of games..

But cool. There's been a download link for Battlefield 3 for about a week in the download section for Pc. Xbox 360 download link just came out this past weekend.
