Hey bud, i have owned several jtags in thee past 3 years, and all for different purposes, im just gonna go ahead and assume that you want it for modded Lobbies, and not for any offline use (BUT TRY HAVIG FUN WITH IT OFFLINE ITS DOPE) anyway im sure you know jtags can not and probly will not ever be online again, But you can host "system link" lobbies, which are kind of lame in my opinion. But anyway you wont brick it if you DONT UPDATE! alot of people have problems system linking because they dont have the latest tu (title update) but if you like i can send you COD4 with the patch and tu7 (the wholepackage) so you can system link right away. You can only host system link lobbies for cod4,
.waw lobbies are done with disks. there are methods of hosting for black ops and mw2 but they have not been released, any if you have any questons about jtags please let me know.

They will work even when the new Dashboard come out.

I'm still on 12611, and the current Dashboard is 13604, it's completely irrelevant to a JTAG to update dashboards since you can just patch your default.xex to get around the systemupdate.

However, yes more than likely there will be patches to get the November 25th dashboard for your JTAG.

Now, onto things that can mess up your JTAG.

Note #1: NEVER, EVER, apply a System Update from a game disk, or Prompt while using a JTAG. (Exclusing for Avatar update done correctly.)

Note #2: A bad flash / image will make your JTAG unusable until it is manually reflashed via LPT cable or Nand-X.

Note #3: If you have an Xenon, don't use it for in excess of 2 hours.

Note #4: Use Google before asking a question, many JTAG questions have been answered over the internet over the years and most problems can be found and solved without asking, but if you're unsure of doing something, ask before attempting to solve it yourself.

at the end of the day a JTAG IS A JTAG NO MATTER WHAT MODEL IT IS !!!!!
