Hi

I'm getting really low FPS in crysis 2, on average 20FPS, sometimes 15FPS

Even on the lowest settings, Still get 30FPS or below

Here are my specs

AMD Phenom ii x4 955 B/E OCed to 3.8GHz
8GB DDR3 1600MHz
GTX 460 2GB OCed to 850MHz GPU clock, 1700 shader clock and 2000 memory clock (Got even lower FPS before I oced)
320GB 7200RPM SATA HDD

Both CPU and GPU are not overheating, CPU at about 40-50oC On full load and card getting to about 50-60 on full load

What seems to be the problem? I can play BF2,L4D2 and Black ops fine, just this game...

Make sure you dont have anyway background/shadow programs taking up your memory
(check your processes to find them)

Done that, stopped every process thats not windows related and GFX card related and still FPS drop. Even at any resolution, any quality setting, I still get low FPS

But the funny thing is, it would be real fast for a few seconds, then FPS just drops.

Do you have you motherboards chipset updated? How about your video card? You should be at least getting 30 FPS on max settings..

I've sorted it out now, partially. One of the 6 pins are faulty, and only work in a certain slot, and basically I get 40FPS+ now But The game starts **** up then freeze, then quits. Then for some reason Google Chrome has a fit and unable to find home page...
