Another quick plugin I conjured up last night. It quite simply surrounds the targeted element in darkness similar thus emphasising it. For more info check out the github repo and demo page below.

How to contribute

Updated with a few different things...
  • Soft Background option
  • Click to close option
  • Hide target option
  • Minified versions of both JS and CSS
  • Improved argument handling
  • General tweaking and code refactoring
