I used to be one and ill tell ya,its one of the most fun positions but hurts like a bitch when you get it.just stay on your toes use your eyes and make sure u catch the ball :trollin:

ok.. im a wide reciever for my freshman team.. hers some tips

1)study your routes make sure you know what your doing before you get to the line.
2) make sure to try to get loose of the cornerback in front of you but stay in route
3) make sure to be looking for the ball when your supposed to, no need for getting nailed cause you werent looking.
4) study.. keep good grades in school so you can stay on the team
5) get to know how your quarterback throws know usually how fast its coming
6) stay fit.. loads of running as a wide reciver
7) buy some wide receiver gloves, they help alot on footballs thrown a little high and a little bit low, just some support for wild passes.
