Thought I would post this because well it's a good trick to know.. now the way we would use to do 146324x11 would be the Long way..

and we would work it out blah blah blah...

The Simple way would be just to..

1) Copy the first number.. 1
add the first and second number 1+4
now the second and third.. 4+6
third and fourth.. 6+3
fourth and fifth 3+2
fifth and sixth 2+4
copy the sixth number.. 4
now do the math 1 (1+4=5) (4+6=10) (6+3=9) (3+2=5) (2+4=6) 4
now because you have a two digit number (10) you cary the one and add it to the number directly infront of it (5=6) now whats your answer? 1609564
