Why would you post on a topic saying this? Your not answering anyone's question and its not benefitting anyone.

Cool, then join TTG. Hope you become a well involved member.

Welcome to TTG,
WOW, Bungie Studios. How did you hear about us? This has been a mostly COD website, but there are a large amount of HALO players here as well. I have started a topic about educational links because several members have been interested in getting into the Gaming Industry.
Forums/file=viewtopic/t=13165/sid...43889.html

Would you have any recommended sites for members to go to for help with their career?
I do have a few questions that you might be able to help with.

1. What kind of work did you use in your portfolio when you went to apply for Bungie?
2. Was that the only Gaming Studio that you went too?
3. What kind of advice would you give to a young designer that would help in getting hired?
4. What are the most important subjects for up and comming designers to learn?

These are just for my benifit.
1. Which characters did you help with in designing?
2. Could you get us anything that we could use as prizes for contests? (anyting, no matter how small would be totally awesome)
3. Would you want to be a member of staff here and start up a HALO forum? (Sean has final approval)

Thanks for posting.

reply to mikerhotch:I was forced to move to seattle because thats where the studio is

Replys to casca:
1.most of it was covered in graphics and engeneering and i was a good hands on learner I used many things but they where looking for someone with expertise in my field so it came up and i was always a fan of video games
2.no no no but that was one of the most memorable because it was the easiest and I learned lots
3.the hardest thing for me was the bases (models) and shades work on that now and be good at it and you are bound for a job
4.Learn how to draw with quickness and easiness and do not stress if you mess up
Cascas Benefit:
1.I help design:Grunts,343 guilty spark,Elites and best of all master chief!
2.yeah i can get posters and figurines but dont forget the money comes out of my pocket
3.I would love to be a member of the staff and i dont mind making a halo forum either

Hope this helped

Really cool, I always considered going into the gaming industry. I'm horrible at drawing though. No way I would be a good designer, but love to play video games. Whats a better job then to create what you love? Then I wouldn't call it a job, I would say that is getting paid to have fun. Hope you like us here, and join TTG.

you know what people in gaming industry are always looking for people that know shading and motion and other stuff but drawing is really good to know just follow my advice try learning from some friends or someone or just ask your art teacher what you learn in school will help throughout your whole life believe me.

PS. I found you guys by platying COD i saw seans score and wanted to see what his site is like I dont always have to play halo y'know
