Building a computer is very easy. Worst thing you can do is drop it, touch something you wern't ment to (its obvious on most things what not to) or zap yaself

I've built 2 computers by myself easy takes less then a day and its always cheaper.

Started at 15 so any age but yea start with a max budget with a max over spending amount of say $100 so you don't get screwed on delivery or something.

List what you need example

Mouse, keyboard, mobo, hdd, screen etc etc

then just do a bit of research on reviews then pick what the Pc will be used for meh im typing to much so if ya need help just ask and btw 500gig is tiny for me im at 3.75TB and i had to do a clean because i can do 100gig in just a few days (about 24hours or less)

It probably isn't hard just as Filth said all you really need is a little spare cash.

Yeah it is going to be awesome.
