I have just finished my simple snake game. Here are the downloads

This one doesn't have a counter in the middle of the screen:

This one does:

Updates:

    - displays final snake count
    - improved code efficiency (nothing you need to worry about)


Please comment and report any glitches.

I can confirm there is no virus, and works just fine. You look like you're good with Java. keep at it.

I made a new version of the snake game where the target has a color and then that color circle adds onto the snake. you can download it here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Features to come:

    - Timer to collect target
    - levels with obstacles (walls)
    - high scores list (hopefully)
    - a menu with

      - high scores
      - free play: rainbow snake and normal
      - campaign (levels)




If anyone has any ideas I will try to implement them.

Nice! Can you post the source? I think I could make it better by adding some different levels i.e. one with barriers in it.

I'm Planning to release the next version later today.

Updates:
    Campaign mode (5 levels and a win screen level)
    menu
    original version implemented
    colored version implemented


Due to some glitches the newest version of the game cannot be released.

Snake v4.0 is finally here. I have combined all the snake games into one (snake color, snake). I have also added in a campaign. Currently it has 5 levels and a You win screen (can still play on it). I have also make the collision detection between the target smoother (no/less of a pause).

Known bugs:
Whenever you return to the menu, and the click the High Scores option, the display count increases by one.
(return to the menu twice, the message prints out 3 times)

Next update:
    extra levels (hopefully 5)
    High Scores
