Hey guys I am selling my normal editing computer that I love to get in a new laptop.

I have a decent laptop then I want to keep to save money but I need to be able to record with an HDPVR and edit with Sony Vegas Pro.

I can upgrade it from 1 GB DDR2 to 4 GB im sure that would be enough as this desktop has 3gb DDR3.

It has an intel core 2 duo T7250. Is this a fast enough processor? If not is it possible to add like an i3 processor? Or would I need a new motherboard as well?

I havent worked much with laptops btw. So would it be difficult to do?

Well it depends if your current motherboard supports intels new i series chips, since you have a core 2 duo it most likely doesn't, so yes you would have to get a new motherboard to be able to upgrade to an i3/i5/i7 chip
