Ok so i have a HP Slimline, one that your would buy from walmart. And it has a AMD2 Socket with a AMD Athlon x2 2.5ghz... I am going to buy a new heatsink for it, but i was looking at the brackets on AMD2 heatsinks and the holes are in a rectangular shape. My holes in my PC for mounting a heatsink are in a square. the distance from hole to hole is 72mmx72mm which is a 775 socket size. Please explain this S :idea: iT! LOL This is so weird. So now i am gana buy a 775 Heatsink.
