Completely Updated with new downloads for older versions, if you really want virus scans I can provide em but I swear they are clean!

Seems to work fine. I didn't delete the "version" file and I didn't overwrite it, cause I thought mmmmaaaybe... And I was right. The Minecraft updater thought it was 1.7, but the title screen says 1.6.6. No need to fool around with firewall rules or anything.. Just know that your game will update next time a new Minecraft version is released. But then you'll have a backup handy, I'm sure..!
Anyway yeah, it worked. I downgraded cause I wanted to use the Amazopack from Painterly. Mod installed as it should and everything.
Oh yeah, if you can't overwrite the files, maybe closing down Minecraft would be an idea? Just sayin'..
