You won't be virus free when you download an infected file. Your router can't protect that.

Exactly most viruses come from downloads so don't think your entirely safe.

how about you post your speedtest result, then we will see what $615 gets you in actuality. and your not portected, if someone really wanted to, they could just fud a virus, file pump it so it looks legit, and then you would be infected, and still have a $600 router
here is mine.. off of an $100 router
if you dont get higher than me i will laugh cuz you just wasted $600

Yeah in actuality your connection can only be as fast as your paying for no matter what router you have. It all depends on your ISP.
