To begin watching TV, say Xbox, watch TV, or select TV from My games & apps.

To open OneGuide while watching a TV show, say Xbox, OneGuide, or press the X button on your controller.

Note Some set-top boxes have features or menus that the OneGuide may not be able to control. It doesnt hurt to keep your remote handy.

You can use either voice commands or your controller to navigate OneGuide and find TV shows that you want to watch.

Use your controller to navigate OneGuide and find shows

With OneGuide open, use the left stick to move up and down the channel list or left and right through shows. This is similar to using the directional arrows on your remote control.
When you find a show you want to watch, highlight the show (not the channel) and press the A button on your controller.

Note Depending on your set-top box, you may see some additional information or menus appear when navigating through the channels. This is your set-top box software responding to OneGuide.

Use voice commands to navigate OneGuide and find shows

Like all of Xbox One, OneGuide can be controlled by voice commands. Youll want to ensure Kinect is set up and calibrated for audio. For more information, see Calibrate the microphone on the Kinect sensor.

Say Xbox to see the available voice commands on your console at any time. For a list of available voice commands in TV, see Use voice commands to control TV on Xbox One.

Note Voice command availability differs by region.
