The world of Xbox One is home to many unique home video applications that can be installed for your entertainment from the outset. Services like Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, Redbox Instant, FOX NOW, FXNOW, The CW, NFL, and many others have come to Xbox Live as a means of compiling the very best their services have to offer.
All of these apps in themselves are free to download and install under the Apps page.
Several of the popular Apps on the Xbox One are subscription-based services. This means that you must pay a monthly fee--or a by-the-watch fee--in order to access them. These includes Netflix, Redbox Instant, Amazon Instant Video, and Hulu Plus.
You will be able to stream movies and television programming freely from your living room once you sign into your specific account for the specific app. You will remain logged in once you log in the first time.
